Community Recovery Resources
What is a Recovery Coalition?
A recovery coalition is a collaborative effort focused on supporting individuals in their journey from active addiction to sustained recovery. It brings together various stakeholders involved in different aspects of the recovery process, creating a unified network of resources and support for those fighting substance use disorders.
We build relationships that build a healthy and resilient Waupaca…
The Waupaca Area Recovery Coalition formed in 2019 to combat the effects substance use disorder has on our community. By taking a grass roots community approach, the coalition seeks to build relationships in our community and stamp out the effects of social stigma by focusing on education, harm reduction and taking a holistic approach in everything we do.
Holistic Resiliency
Our recovery coalition, like intricate tapestries woven from diverse threads, can play a significant role in building healthy and resilient communities. Our holistic approach tackles not just individual recovery but also fosters a supportive environment where everyone can thrive
Community Engagement
Addiction often impacts not just the individual but also their loved ones and the community at large. Coalitions bridge this gap by offering support groups and educational programs for families. They also engage community members in awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts, creating a collective understanding and empathy.
